The Sanctuary of the Virgin of Cabrera<\/strong> is located on a cliff at 1308 meters above sea level and its location allows for good views over the plain of Vic. There is a bar service in the sanctuary and you can book for breakfast, lunch and dinner 639 29 35 05<\/a> . <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To get to the sanctuary you have to walk, leaving the car under the steep stairs or walk from different points of the Serralada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Morro de l’Abella<\/strong> is an ideal excursion for family, friends or couples. It is a natural viewpoint with incredible views of the Pant\u00e0 de Sau. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2023 they charge an eco-fee of \u20ac2.50 per person to access Morro de l’Abella on weekends, bank holidays and public holidays from 10am to 6pm. This eco-fee is used to raise money to cover the costs of maintaining the site, as it has become a very popular site in recent years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forest of enchanted rocks<\/strong> is a very special place, located in Sant Feliu de Pallerols, in La Garrotxa, it is a forest of impressive beech trees with very curiously shaped rocks that will allow us to explore each of the small corners that form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is an ideal excursion to do with children given its short distance and little difference in altitude and, especially in autumn, with the maximum splendor of the colors of this forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Salt de Sallent<\/strong> is a waterfall with a free fall of 115 m, thus being the jump with the highest vertical drop in Catalonia. This natural beauty is located on the edge of the village of Rupit<\/a> , where most adventurers who decide to discover one of the natural wonders of the Osona region leave. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most well-known route to reach the jump is leaving from the village of Rupit, specifically from the edge of the Sant Miquel Church, and following the marked path that you will find on your way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plan d’Aiats<\/strong> is a steep platform of more than 3 km that is part of the Serra de Cabrera. The Aiats plateau, at an altitude of about 1,300 m, draws a silhouette with a very characteristic profile that is easily identifiable from the plain and which becomes a landscape reference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this sparsely populated territory, the green meadows contrast with the limestone cliffs that, on foggy days, tower over the fertile plains and which are, at the same time, fantastic vantage points from where you can see from Pedraforca to Canig\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Foradada<\/strong> . Just below Cantonigr\u00f2s, the streams of Sant Juli\u00e0 and de la Rotllada come together to form the riera de la gorga that drops a little further down in a waterfall that creates a groove in the imposing walls that surround the stream and that it has as a characteristic that one of the walls has a hole of considerable dimensions, which is what gives the place its name. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to its attractiveness, it is a place frequented by visitors to the area and in recent years there has been an increase in visitors who went to bathe, have picnics, disturbing the visitors who wanted to enjoy this place natural in its essence, this is why the City Council decided to create a control and information service for the Foradada space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monastery of Sant Pere de Casserres<\/strong> is the only one of the Benedictine order in Osona. It is located in Masies de Roda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monastery is located on a peninsula surrounded by the river Ter which in this place is dammed by the Sau dam. The church and the monastery rub to the east and west with the rocky walls of the cliff, which descends to the level of the waters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’Esquirol<\/strong> – Santa Maria de Corc\u00f3 is a very large municipality located in the east of the Osona region, right at the entrance to Collsacabra. With a height difference of more than 800 meters, from the Ter valley to the top of Cabrera, the term includes the centers of l’Esquirol, Cantonigr\u00f2s, Sant Juli\u00e0 de Cabrera and Sant Mart\u00ed Sescorts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the village of l’Esquirol you will find shops and services: shops, bakery, pharmacy, gas station, hairdresser, bars, restaurants… You can also find cultural activities there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cantonigr\u00f2s<\/strong> is a locality that forms part of the municipality of Santa Maria de Corc\u00f3, and is the second most populous part of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among its places of interest we find the Church of Sant Roc, the natural area of \u200b\u200bLa Foradada or the sanctuary of Cabrera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the village there is a magnificent children’s park, surrounded by nature and trees. Next to it a track for skating, playing football or basketball. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rupit and Pruit<\/strong> , which after years of independence, have become a town that now has two nuclei. The first is the one that would be the representative of ‘the medieval’ and the one that attracts more visitors. It is also a land of good cuisine. You can taste the artisanal products provided by the farmers in the area and prepared by the local restaurants. Rupit’s cuisine is characterized by a varied, homemade and mountain cuisine.
